Recommended Not so New Anime ( 1 ) Alejandro Edition

Haha, good stuff. I had heard of Da Capo only and Id never seen it. Theres a lot of stuff on this list that Im seeing for the first time.
I want to see "I My Me, Strawberry Egg" and "Akane Iro no Somaru Saka" now.
Anime Id recommend from past seasons are, in no particular order:
Saint Seiya: a shounen anime about hotblooded fighting, raising your cosmos to win unbeatable foes, and all kinds of other cool stuff. Its my favorite series.
Excel Saga: This anime is just gold. Period. Its nearly mindless comedy sprinkled with anime references left and right.
Record of Lodoss war: a very VERY good anime (in my opinion) about a band of heroes fighting an evil in a medieval setting. It sounds simple but the plot is very developed and its just an all around good anime. Oh, and the setting has magic, too, so its not just swords.
Serial Experiments Lain: An anime about a girl, Lain, who gets into computers and quickly becomes detached from the world. I cant say what happens because it would be a spoiler but this anime is a classic and the plot is so deep and the themes so complex that there are multiple essays written to explore them.
So yeah. I dont have images for them. I dont have the time to find them. Here are my oldies recommendations. :D

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2

The first season of Haruhi Suzumiya was released a few years ago and covered the first few light novels in the series. Ever since then, fans have been wanting to have a new Haruhi season continuing the story. Well, fans can now rejoice because the first episode of the new season has been released on TV and subbed by, among others, the group CoalGuys [CoalGG].
The way the anime was released was in the following way:
The original series was aired in non-chronological order originally. What they did was re-air the original series in chronological order and then insert the new season's episodes where they fit in the timeline between the old episodes. The first episode of the new season was released just after an episode of the old season. I believe I read that this new episode is episode 8 chronologically.
This means that new episodes will be released in between old episodes.
As a Haruhi fan, I cant wait to watch the new season. The first episode was great and dealt with a bit of the novels I had been really curious about up till now.
So yeah, if you enjoyed the first season, watch the new one.

Hi all... I dont have much to say. Im not good at this blogging thing but I wanted to try out the blogging feature of Orinetz. Thats all...
I dont like this minimum character requirement. Now I have to come up with filler material.
Anyway, so I ordered the Hayate figma from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series. I think it comes out at the end of the month. With that figure, Ill have all the main characters from the series (well, aside from the two main characters from STRIKERS but I dindt like them very much so its okay.)
Anyone else planning on getting her?
