The elephants shown in the video above are Asian Elephant ( Elephas Maximus ), the only extant species of genus Elephas. In some South East Asian countries, Asian Elephants often found living with human beings and help human doing their job. Some people even make a living by training elephants.
It is funny to find that while elephants can not consistently earn good score in mirror test, elephant have the cognitive skill required to draw their own self portraits. If you want to see elephants drawing elephants, you can go to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Of course these elephants need human to teach them how to paint, but that is also the case for most human painter.
